The long wait is over. As Richard the father shared,

“For the first time since the accident, we can go places together as a family again. We can take Faith to therapy, to the park, even just for a drive. It’s given us freedom — and given Faith back a piece of her life.”

I can’t thank Muriel's Angels, enough for their incredible generosity and kindness. My daughter and I were blessed to receive a van from them, and it has truly changed our lives. Faith’s Journey:

A Story of Family, Courage, and Hope

Eighteen-year-old Faith had always been a bright light — full of laughter, promise, and kindness. But in an instant, everything changed. As a passenger in a motor vehicle accident, Faith was thrown from the car, suffering catastrophic injuries that left her completely paralyzed. Now dependent on a ventilator and a feeding tube, she can no longer speak — but she can hear every word, every whisper of love from her family.

With immense effort and determination, Faith has learned to communicate through the small movement of one finger on an adaptive touch pad. That single motion has become her bridge to the world — her voice, her strength, her hope.

After fifteen long months in the hospital, Faith finally came home. Her care is constant and complex, shared lovingly between her father, Richard, and her two brothers, Josh, 16, and Zach, 22. Their days are filled with patience, devotion, and endless challenges. The family’s greatest struggle has been transportation — waiting for hours for adaptive public transit, often missing appointments and opportunities for Faith’s therapy and connection beyond the walls of her home.

That’s when Muriel’s Angels stepped in. Through their generosity and compassion, the family received a wheelchair-adaptive van — a gift that has truly transformed their lives.

One of Faith’s therapists added,

“Thank you, Muriel’s Angels, for your incredible generosity in donating an adapted van to a family in need.. Your gift has given Faith and her family  the freedom to access vital medical care, connect with their community, and embrace new opportunities that greatly enhance their quality of life. As a therapist, I’m deeply grateful for the meaningful impact your organization continues to make in our community.”

This van has opened doors that were once closed. It’s more than transportation — it’s hope in motion.”

Faith’s story is one of courage, love, and resilience — a reminder that even in the face of unimaginable loss, compassion and community can help a family move forward together.
